The days have almost stopped now End what sunlight there is has become dimmed. The four-months-long night has officially started. Admiral Byrd has named his post the Boiling Advance Weather Station The men of the winter party have all almost completed their outs'de tasks having emptied the Last Barrier cache of everything except a few bales of hay. The last ot the food supplies had been hauled irom Reiroat Camp. The weather is now too cold for dogs, and has almost .stopped the tractors, but one will be kept in readiness to rush to Admiral Byrd's assistance if necessary, though it is doubtful if it could reach Us destination.
