As a result of the abolition ef the board it has boon necessary to frame amending regulations under the Kauri Gum industry Act, 1008. Those amendment.-, which are also published m the current issue of the Gazette, give to the Commissioner of Crown Lands, the powers previously held by the board in respect, to the issue of licenses.
