GERMANY AND FRANCE GOERING OFFERS THE OLIVE BRANCH PARIS, March 20. General H. von Goering (president of the Reichstag and Ministei for Air) has extended the olive branch to France. '"Le Jour"' prints an interview in which General von Goering says he once believed reconciliation with France was impossible. but he has changed his mind. He now proclaims that there can be no durable peace in Europe or the world unless Franco-German relations are settled. There are no insurmountable territorial or economic obstacles between them. The ideal solution of Franco-German problems would be for Herr Hitler and an equally prominent Frenchman to meet and discuss a settlement.
