The reports received from the various sub-commitlees showed that finality was being reached. Tenders for supplying timber to erect, stalls were received, and the price submitted by Paynter and Hamilton, Ltd., was accepted conditionally on Mr Lamb procuring further particulars. Mrs H. Y. reported that Mrs Bromley had olfered the committee the use of the miniature golf links. The offer was accepted with thanks. The sports committee reported that six teams had entered for the professional class in the tug-of-war. The entertainment committee reported that the Easter Sunday band concert was well in hand. The report on the attendance of the St. John Ambulance showed that all arrangements were i complete. The offer of Crompton's. ! Ltd.. to supply the coppers free of ■ charge was accepted with thanks, and donations were acknowledged with thanks from the D.1.C., Ltd., and Adams, Ltd.
