• ♦ DIVISION FORMED AT SI MNEK A meeting of women interested in the formation of a branch of the St. John Ambulance was held recently, the Rev. \V. A. Orange presiding. Three of the officers of the city organisation spoke on the method of forming a branch. Mrs Bishop, lady district superintendent, and Miss Fricker, lady corps superintendent, Rave demonstrations of first aid. Mr Dickson, corps superintendent, also spoke on the formation of a division. The meeting decided to form a nursing division. Miss E. Dixon was elected secretary. It was decided to hold meetings every Friday from the first, Friday in April and to invite all those interested in the work to communicate with Miss F„ M. Dixon, of Monek's Spur. RedI cliffs.
