Shortly afterwards 'ho Federal authorities allowed a night's delay m his arrest on an order for extradition. The British Ambassador in Washington agreed not to press for his return to London to face charges of swindling. Thus he has been granted technical freedom for an indefinite period. He was needed here, the prosecutors said, in ease his kidnappers, Roger Touhy and his three associates, suecoeded in gaining a new Irial. Freedom meant little to Factor. However, he appeared m court on Monday with a guaid, and has been living under guard since the kidnapping. His quarters are a fortified suite in an hotel.
