REFE REES' ASSO CIATION THE ANNEAL MEETING .\t the annual meeting of the Canterbury Hockey Referees' Association last night Mr L. W. Steel presided. The annual report showed that the la-! season had been a successful one. Tin' membership was 47, and the average attendance at meetings was good. Two candidates Messrs E. 11. Thomson and K. Ashhurton. and Hornby, and lo several city clubs. Two friendly matches were played.
