A MEMORIAL TO A PIONEER
ro tie innvi cr mi r»i<s. Sir.—Wo are often told that what is everybody's business is nobody's business and therefore remains undone. It is to be hoped that this is not going to be true in regard to a memorial to Sir Arthur Dudley Dobson. Perhaps the Canterbury Automobile Association or the Pilgrims' Association, both of which were well served by Sir Arthur, will give a lead of some kind. There is every reason to set up at once a strong committee to consider suggestions and ways and means. It would be better that a public body should take the matter in hand, rather than that the civic authorities should be as!:ed to do it.—Yours, etc. 11. I\. WILKINSON'. March 15. I'KJi. P.S.--Since writir-:; the above I have krrncd th;tt Uv Piocre.-* I .ensue is lakms action.--H.R.W.
