The match between Australia and Tasmania was continued to-day at Hobart, in greatly improved weather and before an attendance of more than 5000 spectators. Tasmania, with the score at seven wickets for 230 runs, resumed batting on a good wicket, and furnished a pleasant surprise through James and Parry, both of whom batted brilliantly, notably James, who scored 70 in 55 minutes, the ninth wicket adding 77 in 34 minutes.
