♦—^ — «LES CLOCHES DE CORNEVILLE" TO BE PRODUCED The famous French opera "Les Cloches de Corneville" was finally adopted at a meeting of the committee of the Christchurch Amateur Operatic Society last evening as the society's first production for this year. It will be produced early in May, and the first rehearsal and trial of new members' voices will be held on Monday next. The committee appointed Mr Alfred Bun/ director and Major F. H. Lampen producer.
