MINIATURE OF NELSON CATHEDRAL

The model of Nelson Cathedra], which will be one of the many models to be shown at the Town Planning and Housing Exhibition, which will open in Christchurch on Friday, came to hand on Saturday, and is being prepared for exhibition. Admission to the exhibition will be free, but a charge ot sixpence will be made for the catalogue descriptive of the exhibits. Amongst other models on view will be two of garden lay-outs, and one of a Japanese garden. An exhibit by the Institute of Surveyors that should be of interest will be a display of the earlier types of surveying instruments with those of the latest design for comparison. The exhibition which is to be held in a part of the premises of the D.1.C., is to be opened by the Mayor iMr D. G. Sullivan, M.P.) at 2.30 p.m. on Friday.
