SCHOOLS' PICNIC The Mayor of Lyttelton tMr W. T. Lester) asks the citizens of Lyttelton to observe Thursday next as a holiday, on the occasion of the borough schools' and trades' picnic. West Lyttelton School Picnic The annua], picnic of the West Lyttelton School was held yesterday at I Stewart's Gully. The day was fine but cold, but: the attendance was large.
