i * TESTS FOR TROPHY Tests for the Grant-Dalton trophy were undergone by the No. 4 (Army Co-operation) Squadron, of the New Zealand Territorial Air Force yesterday, the examining officers being members of the Permanent Air Force. The tests used arc very comprehensive and cover almost every phase of training imd service work. The trophy was presented by Wing Commander S. Grant-Dalton, of Geraldine, when he was Director of Air Services in New Zealand. It was given with the intention of promoting efficiency in thd squadrons, and each squadron will compete for it as its period of training is completed, No. 4 Squadron having completed its annual refresher course yesterday. Last year the trophy was won by No. 1 Squadron.
