CHATHAM ISLANDS WHARF
* ~ The new wharf at Waitangi, Chatham Islands, is approaching completion, and Mr F. Langbein, district engineer Public Works Department, intends leaving for Waitangi next week to inspect it. The work of building a jetty at Pitt Island is to be put in hand at once, and as the contractors for the Waitangi wharf, the Rope Construction Company, Auckland, have all their plant available, it has been arranged that they should do the work.
