MULTI-MILLIONAIRES
THEIR NUMBER DECREASING
NEW YORK, January 19.
The United Stales has only 20 multi-millionaires, each drawing an annual net income of more than £200,000, left out of a group once numbering 513. Two men have annual incomes exceeding £ I,O()O,UUU. These 20 multi-millionaires pay more than half of their incomes to the Federal Government in taxes. A national survey shows a great '•hrinkage in taxable incomes. Each dollar of taxable income in 1021! shrunk to 36 cents in 1932 (little more than one-third). THE FALKLAND ISLANDS INTENSE FORTIFICATION KIIMOI HED ' LONOON, February 4.
