HITLER'S REGIME
o A (GERMAN'S VIEWS The progress of Germany in the last few months since Herr Hitler came into power is revealed by a letter received by a prominent radio transmitting experimenter of Christchurch, who has frequently spoken over the air with the writer of the letter, Hans Otto Koch, of Cologne, Germany. The first part of the letter is devoted to radio technicalities. The part of the letter dealing with the internal state of present day Germany reads: "It makes great pleasure to me, that also your country is climbing up again, and leaving the great world crisis. Here things have really changed to the better, since the new government exists. There are only four millions of men out of work against six millions in the last year! This is in truth a 'fine result!. There are no longer parties in Germany; here is only one German nation. If ; ny man tells we would fall into militarism I must say ■it is not' fair • of him to speak so, because every people has the right of being able to defend himself, and we have no more armed men than there have been fixed."
