INDIAN'S CLAIM CALCUTTA, October 25. Swimming continuously for 79 hours 24 minutes at the Rangoon Lakes, P. Ghose, a young Bengali, claims to have broken the world record established by the German girl, Ruth Litzig, who, in August, swam for nearly 79 hours, and later died in hospital. Ghose, though completely exhausted, was fully conscious.
