CHILD RUN OVER

VERDICT AT INQUEST (SrECIAL TO THB rMBi.) GREYMOUTH, October 10. At an inquest into the death of Molly Reynolds, who died as the result of being run over by a service car at Maher's Creek, near Barrytown, on Saturday, the following' verdict was returned by the coroner, Mr W. Meldrum: "That the child came to her death from shock from being run over accidentally by a service car. The evidence shows tnat the driver of the car had stopped to receive a message from the child's brother, and had restarted the car without knowing that the little girl had come up on the left side of the car. The left-hand rear wheel passed over the child's body. No blame was attachable to the driver."
