PRIZES FOR ESSAY COMPETI- ! TION There was an interesting ceremony at Hay's Limited on Friday night, when the winner of the Monkey Motor Races Essay Competition, Master ti;ric Clayton, 382 River road, was presented with the prize, a new bicycle. A large number of children took part in the competition, and many excellent essays were received. Hay's Limited have decided to give consolation prizes to the runners-up, Miss Joan W. Anderson, 25 Armagh street, and Master Jack Rumbold, 94 Winchester street. All the competitors will be entertained at Hay's Limited next Friday night at a picture [ party.
