PETROL STATION ON FIRE
(Received September 10, 8.1 p.m.) SYDNEY, September 10. A motor-lorry crashed through two petrol pumps at Homebush. The petrol was ignited and flames immediately encircled the pumps, threatening an explosion in the storage tanks. Firemen had a risky task extinguishing the fire with chemical apparatus.
