CHURCH ANNIVERSARY.

Anniversary services were held at the Shirley-Richmond Presbyterian Church, Randall street, on Sunday, when there were large congregations. The preacher at the morning service was the Rev. L. M. Rogers, of St. David's Church, who gave the children an interesting and helpful address, afterwards preaching to the congregation. Mr Rogers extended his congratulations to the church on the progress that had been made during the last year and wished it a prosperous time in the years ahead. In. the afternoon the St. Albans Methodist choir, under the conductorship of Mr Simpson, visited the church and gave a song service. The church was packed in the evening, when the Rev. F. E. H. Paton conducted the service and spoke on the subject of "Christian Fellowship." At both morning and evening services an augmented choir, under Mr A. McKenzie. led the singing and gave anthems and choral music. Mr J. Tennent contributed a solo. At the conclusion of the evening service Mr F. E. H Paton thanked all the friends from outside churches who had assisted during the day.
