Having surrendered to the police this morning, Harold Percy Campbell, a clerk, appeared in the Magistrate's Court on a charge of theft as * servant of the sum of £6l, the property ot the Phoenix Assurance ComP*ny. He was remanded on bail in the sum of £l5O on condition that he reports daily to the police, who said pat the charge did not indicate the roll amount involved, which would be nearer £SOO.
