LAUNCH TRAGEDY.
1 MANY RUSSIANS DROWNED. | MOSCOW, July 14. It is feared that 100 lives were lost in the capsize of a launch conveying workers and their families, numbering 250, on an excursion on the Volga. Seventy bodies have been recovered. The Soviet has ordered the trial of the union organisers for permitting the overcrowding of the launch.
