GAMING CHARGES.

MEN FINED AT WHANGAREI. (ME.-iS ASiOCIATIOK TELEGRAM.) WHANGAREI, July 12. As a result of the simultaneous raiding of several town premises by the police yesterday afternoon, four persons were charged in the Magistrate's Court this morning with keeping common gaming houses. Fines were imposed as follows: Arthur Clark, £25; Charles Schon, £75; and Arthur Lawrence Lambess, £SO. The charges against Sydney and Raymond Bowyer were adjourned till July 24, bail being fixed at £SO. Of four others charged with being found on the premises, one was fined 20s, one case was dismissed, and the other two were adjourned.
