CHARGE OF SHOPLIFTING DISMISSED.

(FftKSS ASSOCIATION TILEGBAU.) AUCKLAND, June 13. A charge of shoplifting against a young farmer was dismissed by the court to-day. Shop assistants said that the accused man was found with articles inside his coat. He had been a customer of the firm for a long time. The defence contended that a graye mistake had been made. It was said that the goods inside the coat could be easily seen and that accused was carrying them to a. counter to toe W evidence was given that accused's character was unimpeacha*The magistrate said that he should have the benefit of the doubt.
