NOUMEA DESOLATED.

SYDNEY, April 19.

A terrific cyclone which, passed over New Caledonia recently wrought extensive damage, according to a wireless message from the liner Oronsay, which has arrived at Noumea on a pleasure cruise. The message said desolation was evervwhere. Small ships were carried high and dry by the huge seas. Numerous buildings were blown down, crops and trees razed, ana the water system dislocated.
