ACCIDENTS.

TRAMWAY EMPLOYEE INJURED. An employee of the Christchurch Tramway Board, E. Ashton, of Aidwin's road, was admitted to the Christchurch Hospital yesterday afternoon suffering from a crushed right hand and fractured thumb. A motor case slipped and fell on his hand while he was engaged at the board's workshops, FATAL INJURIES. (r.RESS ASSOCIATION TILCGRAM ) GREYMOUTH, April 11. Benjamin Gordon Hooper, 46, married with five children, was fatally injured at Wallis's sawmill, Inangahua Landing, a limb of a tree falling on him. He was removed to the Reefton private hospital, where he died at 6 p.m.
