SYDNEY CRICKET. WARREN BARDSLEY'S LAST GAME. SYDNEY, April 9. Warren Bardsley, for 30 years a stalwart of the Glebe and Western Suburbs Club and who has also figured in international cricket, played his last grade game on Saturday, when he scored 36 for Western Suburbs against Mosman. D. G. Bradman played his last game for St. George, knocking up 53 against Waverley. He plays next season with North Sydney, which already has O'Reilly, Hill, and Punch, all firstxaters. DEY-THROP CUP. The annual cricket match between teams representing the Canterbury Commercial Travellers' and Warehousemen's Association and the Returned Soldiers' Association took place on Saturday at Rugby Park in beautiful weather, and resulted in a win for the Travellers by 75 runs. Travellers made 201 and for the Travellers, F. Ball (retired) 63, E. Bartlett vretired) 33, K. Hore (retired) 30, and F. Heywood 27, were the chief scorers, while K. Hore bowled well, taking six wickets for 21 runs. For the Returned Soldiers' Association, C. James was the only batsman to withstand the Travellers' attack, and scored 79 runs by a brilliant display. The Returned Soldiers' Association retains the Dey-Throp Cup for another season, having won the tennis by 10 games to two and the bowls by two games to one. BANKS PENINSULA V. MALVERN. A Banks Peninsula representative cricket team played a Malvern team on the Awa-iti Domain, Little River, on Saturday. The game resulted in Banks Peninsula winning by 14 runs on the first innings. The day was ideal for cricket, except for the wind, which was at times gusty. Banks Peninsula in the first innings made 149 (J. Tikao 33, W. Gill 26, R. Masefield 14, M. Coop 13, T. Maskew 13). Malvern in the first innings made 135 (L. Wright 23, Summerville 21, A. Stone 19, H. Westward 16, C. Innes 10). Bowling for Malvern, R. Gunn took one for 14, Stone two for 33, R. Hardie four for 42, J. Gunn one for 26, Shipley one for 1. For Banks Peninsula McDonald took four for 26, J. Tikao two for 10, W. Gill one for 10, C. McDonald one for 11, R. Curry one for 7, M. Coop one for 41.
