♦ — HAREWOOI) CLUB. The Ilarewood Hockey Olub held its second niiniiiil mooting on Monday evening. Mr if. W. Jtogurs presiding over au attendance of J 5 members. The annual report nnd balance-sheet showed that the club had had a very successful season. One team had been entered in too Canterbury Hotkey Association'* third grade competitions, and tho plnyer3 had s.hown a marked improvement in the season's play. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of Mi 9s '2d. Assets were, set down at I>lo lis 2d. The report made retcreuce lo the good work of Mr D. I.ovv, who had organised »cveral concorts in aid of the club funds, and U Mr W. Grammer, whose «ork as coach had been invaluable. The following officers were elected: — Patron Mr R. 'W. Hawko, M.P.; president, Mr I Watson; vice-president?, Meafirs F. Preeec (J. Brooks, G. Shipley, N. Donald, R. Mcßea'lh, F. Sisson, C. Moore, W. T. Church, !>' Sis'on F. Morwood, C. Smith, W. Grnm- „,„,. Vnrt' Mro D. Low: lion, secretary and treasurer, Mr C. Donaldson; honorary andilor Mr H. Toose; delegate to Canterruittee Messrs D. Low, G. Goodall, A. Morwood, ft. Stokes, K. Watson A. Smith and J. Tucker; club captain and selector, Mr D. '"'V\w opening day was fixed for April 8. Two new members were elected, and tbe entry of teams in tho amateur competitions wns'left to the committee. Tho subscription was filed at the same rate as last season.
