BENEFIT DANCE.
The Hawaiian Dance Assembly held a successful benefit dance in the OddfelloW Hall, Eiccarton, on Wednesday evening. The hall was decorated with coloured streamers and balloons. Mr W. Lewis was master of eeremonies, and M? Karaitiana supplied the dance music. The organising committee comprised Messrs S. Lee (chairman) and 3T. Tippet, Mesdames S. Lee (hon. secretary), F. Tippet, and E. Clark. Amongst those present were Mesdames S. Lee, E. Clark, H. Henry (Hornby), Misses Billie Hocking, Lily Ford (Tai Tapu), Monica Pye, Cissio Lewis, M. Lewis, Bertha Brunis, Nona Cameron, Eita Price, Gladys Chisholm, Phyllis Robinson, Irene McLennan, Doris Holmes, Irene Milner, B. Keeper, D. Bighani, Pat Gordon, Belle Eaxworthy, and Messrs B.
