ORGAN RECITAL.

DR. BRADSHAW AT THE CATHEDRAL. A further organ recital in the series that l have proved so popular with Christchurch music-lovers was glvon by Dr. J. 0. Bradshaw at the Cathedral last evening. Miss Gladys Brooks, vocalist, was heard in two sacred solos, "Let the Bright Seraphim,'; from the oratorio "Samson" (Handel), and "Love Never Faileth" (Ward-Stephens). The organ programme was as follows:—Toccata in P major (Bach); Andante with Variations from the Grand Septuor (Beethoven); Andante in E flat (Wesley); Overture to "Oberon," for full orchestra (Weber); Moderate in F and Allegretto in 0 (Gade): Canto Popolaro, "In Moonlight," from the concert overture, "In the South" (Elgar; Paques Fleuriea (Flower Feast) (Mallly): Wedding March from the "Midsummer Night's Dream'* (Mendelssohn).
