OUTBOARD MOTOR BOAT CLUB.
CHAMPIONSHIPS ON SATURDAY. The B, C, and D, class championships will be held by the Canterbury Outboard MotorEoat Club at Redc-lifts on Saturday afterropn. No handicap races will be held, all of the e-retts being scratch races for the fastest boats in each class. In the B claS3 championship it is expected that Seasriill (E. Kathgen) and Riki (J. Kellawav) will be the only competitors. B class boats are F°"*«r sci w!tn < n S lnea ?*: vcloping np to 16 horse power, and 88 Riki and Seagull have identical engines, there is considerable speculation concerning the outcome. In the C class championship it is esoccted that five bcils will ■be competing. Irt this class boats may be powered with engines from 1C horse power. Texas Imp and Tally-ho (F. William?) will b? nmnin-r, with J6 horse power and Play Roy (G. Simpson) and Miss Florence (E. Pyc). with 2<? ho«e rower engines; while Demon A (T. Moor) v.-ill nfe a, 2-*' horse power engine.
