' PALMERSTONN., February 23 The Southern Cross, with - repairs find overhaul completed, made a tost ilight at Milson aerodrome shortly hefore noon, with Sir Charles KingsfordSmith at the controls, accompanied by hie brother, Wifrid, and mechanics. The machine rose well and passed over the city, being put through evolutions to test the strength of the repaired wing. Subsequently, Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith. stated that not the slightest fault could be found.
