MEMORIAL TABLET.

MR C. W. B. BOBBINS. " A tablet to the memory of Mr C. W, B. Bobbins, fi master of the ."WBltham School, who lost his life "in the Harman's Pass in January, 1932. was unveiled at the Waltham School yesterday afternoon,' in the presence of the pupils, staff, members of the committee, and friends. Among those who were present were the relatives of Mr Bobbins, Mr J. E. Purchase, formerly principal of the Teachers' Training- College, Mr A. J. Wicks, "a former headmaster of the school. Mr J. J. Hurley, chairman of the school committee, and the present headmaster, Mr D. C. Brown.. A short service was conducted before the unveiling ceremony by the Rev. Kenneth Schollar, and the unveiling was carried out by Mr Hurley. At the beginning of the ceremony, Mr Hurley said that Mr Jlobbins was a man who while he hud been associated with the school, had endeared himself to all .with whom he came in contact. Mr C. E. Martin replied on 'behalf of the relatives of Mr Robbins. The tablet, a brass one, has- the following words inscribed on it: "In memorv of Charles William Bernard Robbins, who lost his life at Harman'a Pass, Januarv 12. 1932. A teacher.of this school. Erected by the school cojrn'itteo and staff."
