MEETING OF DIRECTORS. The Board of Directors of the Young Women's Christian Association met on .Monday. The president, Alvs Wm. Much in, was in the chair, ano led devotions. A letter was receiver from the Mayor asking for help in the appeal for the Mayor's Relief ol Distress Fund. It was decided that twe teams of collectors would serve on thai day, one from the girls, and one tion: the board. Miss 1. Bowden presented a report on the recent conference at Oamaru, On the nomination of Mrs Alachin it was decided to invite Miss Meredith Kaye to become a member of the board. Members expressed their appreciation at the fact that Mr Stanley Jameson had agreed to organise the streei day appeal, to be held on March 10. The following sub-committees were appointed Cake stall. Mesdames Lester artel Warren; refreshments, Meselames Wilson, Cottrill, and Medding3 flowers/ Mesdames Herdman, Bretiierton. and Turnbull: produce,and sweets Mothers' Club. All other 'members ol the board were appointed to the enrolment committee.
