THE BRITISH CABINET.
A MEETING ON THURSDAY. (briiise ohncul -wierless.) (Received January 17, 5.5 p.m.) RUGBY, January 16. The first meeting of the Cabinet for this year will be held on Thursday, and Sir John Simon (Minister of State for Foreign Affairs) will return from Geneva to be present. He will remain in England for a few days, but expects to return to Geneva for the meetings to be held next week. Capt. "R. A. Eden (Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs) loaves London for Geneva to-morrow, and will take charge of the United Kingdom delegation ther« while Sir John Samuel is away. To-day the Prime Minister (Mr Ramsay Mac Donald) has been in consultation with several Cabinet colleagues.
