A military aeroplane crashed on the roof of a house in a Parisian fuburb, and the pilot was killed instantly: The residents rushed into the street. , Policemen and volunteers, using Adders, attempted jto reach the wreckage, and a woman of 70 years returned to the house to fetch her savings when a violent explosion occurred owing to petrol reaching the stove through the chimney. The explosion killed the woman andjnjured 19 Qthprs.
