PLAZA THEATRE.
MIDNIGHT MATINEE TO-MORROW Nothing has been produced remotely resembling "Horse Feathers," the latest farce by those masters of nonsense, the Four Marx Brothers, Groucho, Harpo, Chico, and Zeppo. It is quite the most delirious comedy that has'ever reached the screen —and considering the other efforts of the Marxmen that is Baying a great deal. This talkie, which is one of Paramount's biggest attractions of the new season, will begin, its Christmas season at a midnight matinee to-morrow at the Plaza Theatre. "Horse Feathers" is sheer foolery, with the moustached Groucho talking and punning away at a terrific 'rate, with slowmoving Chico answering in Italian dialect and playing the piano as only he can play it, redwiggod Harpo chasing his blondes, and the almost-normal Zeppo making love to the heroine, a role that is played by Thelma Todd. Groucho this time is a college professor. His purpose in following the paths of learning is to get his son Zeppo out of college. Zeppo, in his twelfth year as an undergraduate, is enamoured of Thelma Todd, the "college widow." Groucho stops all that by falling in love with her himself.
