REGENT theatre. "BRING 'EM BACK ALIVE." frank Buck, who is responsible for most of the Far East wild animal specimens seen in the American roos and circuses, and who is the author of "Bring 'Em Back Alive," figured in a new enterprise when cinematogfuplierfl were added to his expedition through the Malayan jungles to film authentic scenes for the RKO —Van Beuren picturisation of his famous book, which will start at the Regent on Saturday. "This time we had a camera along for the first time," he reminisced, "and instead of running away from deadly dangerous episodes like cqmbata between formidable beasts, we hoped to witness some. We stalked a hungry tiger until he came upon another hungry beast and had to fight to protect his kill. One of th® biggest thrills I ever got was after we had been following the tracks of a big nine-foot man-eater for days and suddenly came upon her in a clearing standing over a young wild boar she had just clawed open. "A black panther sneaked up, and in about a minute there was black and yellow fur flying. And the funny part of it is that the fight ended in a draw with both parties slinking off whon they scented us, leaving the boar for a tawny spotted leopard which cam© along about half an hour after the battle was over."
