INJURED FARMER'S ORDEAL

Farmers in the Lees Valley recently went to considerable trouble to make as comfortable as possible the journey of an injured man, who had to be brought out. from an isolated part of the district in order to "be to the Christchurch Public Hospital for an X-ray examination. Recently Mr G. A. Bruce,' of "Island Hill" Lees Valley, met with a simple but'painful accident.
