In the match against the M.C.C. team for Australia, the Rest of England, first innings, made 244 (Nichols 47, Taylor 35). Larwood took nono for 53, Tate one for 25, Voce none for 30, Brown one for 42, Verity eight for 60, and Mitchell none for 25. The M.C.C. team, second innings, lost two for 287 (Wyatt not out 129, Hammond 41, Ames 105). Rain caused stumps to be drawn. : . Tnere was no play in the match Leveson-Gower's team versus All India, owing to rain.
