BALL AT WEST MELTON.
The benedicts of West Melton and Halketfc entertained the bachelors and spinsters at a ball in the West Melton Hall. An energetic committee, under the supervision of Mr C. E. "Walker (chairman) had the arrangements well in hand. The stage and supper room Were tastefully decorated in mauve and pink. Music was supplied by Jackson's band, and extras were played by Mrs W. McDonald and Mrs Geo. Jowers. The grand march was led by Mrs W. McDonald, and Mr J. H. Hutton, joint secretaries. Mr R. J. Northcott and Mr L. Davis acted as M.C.'s.
