MUTINY ABOARD A TANKER.
ARMED CHINESE RUSH THE BRIDGE. EXCITEMENT AT NAPLES. (CN'ITED TRESS . ASSOCIATION—BY* ELECTtIC telegraph—conrataHT.) (Received August 2Sth, 11.30 p.m.) ROME, -August 27. A. mutiny by the Chinese crew, numbering 20, on the British tanker Haliotis at Naples, was only controlled when the Fascist militia, with drawn revolvers, boarded the vessel and locked the in two cabins. The trouble arose when the captain rebuked the helmsman i'or negligence as the ship was about to sail. The helmsman, closed with the master, biting him severely on the hands before he was driven off. by other British officers. The helmsman called other Chinese. They rushed the bridge, armed with knives and other weapons. The officers defended themselves till the militia arrived. One Chinese was sent to hospital.
