CANTERBURY COLLEGE.
SECOND TERM ENDS.
The second term of the session ended at Canterbury College yesterday, and lectures will not be resumed till Monday, September sth. Most of the students in residence will be returning home to-day, but the Studonts' Association building and tea rooms will continue ooen for benefit of those who remain and for members of the staff who may be engaged on-special work during the vacation. The various clubs and organisations have for the most part completed; their activities for the year, as it is in the few weeks of the third term that the majority of students devote themselves to strenuous efforts at revision of the year's work in preparation for the annual examinations, held in November.
