literary society. The weekly meeting of the Heathcoto Literary and Fellowship Society was held in the Methodist Schoolroom on Wednesday evening. Mrs L. Coglo was in the chair. After the business session the Rev. Mr Kent gave an interesting address on the meaning of Church meinbersliip in relation to the Bible. Maori Mission Party. St. Mary's Church on Saturday evening was crowded, when the Anglican Maori Mission Party conducted the service. A special programme of Maori music was sung by the Maori choir. The preacher for the service was Mr Te Ari Pitania.
