CHRISTCHURCH SOCIETY. CHURCH CHOIR CONTEST. The Clivistohuich' Competitions Society's twenty-second annual festival was continued yesterday in the Civic Theatre and the Caledonian Hall. The main attraction of the ovening'a recall programme at the Cmo Theatre, which drew a record attendance, was the contest for church choirs of from 16 to 2G voices, while other interesting classes were the junior scholarship, the mezzo eacred aoio, contralto English song, open character sketch, and the Irish reel in teams. Sections of the humorous character sketch and the vocal duet were also on the programme.
