VENTURA TO WITHDRAW.
The Oceanic Steamship Company's steamer Ventura arrived at Auckland from Sydney on Saturday, having been delayedi about; six .hours on the passage by a south-south-west gale and roVgh beam sea. She resumed her voyage to San Francisco, via Suva. Pago Pago. Honolulu and Los Angeles, on Saturday evening. On arrival at San Francisco on Juno Ist sho win be withdrawn from. the service. The Ventura took the following passengers from Auckland:—First saloon: Mrs A. Baker, Mrs G. P. Donovan, Master B. Donovan, Master R. Donovan. Miss R. L. Gibson. Miss E Harper, Mr J. G. Gantz, Mrs J. G. Gantz, Miss E. G. Gantz, Mr 0. V. Allom Mr J. D.. Oockburn. Second saloon: Mr J. H. liocKing, Mrs J. H. Hocking, Miss E. M. Hocking, Mr M. Murch. Mr J. H. Overend, Tslt H. G. Miller, Mrs H. G. Miller, Mrs W. M. Scott, Mr A. D. Mcintosh, and one third class.
