ST. ALBANS WATERWORKS LOANS REDEMPTION LOAN, 1932, £20,350. THAT in pursuance and exercise of th® powers vested in it by "The Municipal Corporations Act, 1920." "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926," and all other powers (if any) it in that behalf enabliug, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves by way of Special Order as follows: 1. TO raise a Loan of TWENTY THOUSAND THREE HUNDRED AND FIFTY POUNDS (£20,350) for the purpose of redeeming the outstanding liability in respect of two loans of £'29,300 and £2930 maturing on the 31st October, 1932. -. THAT such Loan be known as THE ST. ALBANS WATERWORKS LOANS REDEMPTION LOAN, 1932, £20,350. J. THAT the term of the said Loan shall not exceed twenty (20) years. 4. THAT the interest on the said Loan shall be at a rate not exceeding £5 per centum per annum, payable halfyearly. u. THAT the form of security for payment of principal and interest on the said Loan shall be by means of debentures and relative coupons of a form in conformity with "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926." PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given tliat at a Special Meeting of the Christchurch City Council held in the City Council Chamber, 194 Manchester street, Christchurch, at $ o'clock p.m. on Monday, the 18th day of April, 1932, a resolution was adopted to make a By-law, the short title of which shall' he "The Christchurch By-law No. 18." The object or purport of the proposed Bylaw is to repeal Sections 529 to 532 inclusive of tho Christchurch By-law No. 1 and to make provision for tho good rule and government of tho City of Christchurch, and in particular to deal with the following matters and things:— The us© of places as bakehouses. The preparation of meat or fat for sale for human food. The storage or offering for retail sale of meat. The use of premises for the retail sale of storage or exposure for retail sale of milk or cream. Tiie manufacture of ice-cream or ices. The use of premises for the purpose of preparing or manufacturing or bottling cordials, syrups, aerated waters, or beverages. AND IT IS HEREBY FURTHER I'UBLlCtiY NOTIFIED that the aforesaid resolution will be submitted to a meeting of the Christchurch City Council to be held in the City Council Chamber, 194 Manchester street.
