Edouard Harriot's protest against the reform, the Chamber of Deputies ended ata all-night sitting by passing, by 3i9 votes to one, the Electoral Bill, enfranchising women, unanimously J , restoring the majority, and abolishing preferential voting. The Senate is expected to reject the women's suffrage.
