Miss Denise Gerard, of Snowdon t is spending .1 camping lioliday at Waikanao with her brother and sister-in-law, the .Rev. Vincent Gerard, and Mrs Gerard and family, of Paliiatua. Mrs W. Forbes and Miss Mabel Forbes (Spreyclon) are spending a holiday in Dunediu.
Mrs B. D. McClatchie (Fendalton) has returned form Governor's Bay. Miss Elisabeth Morris (Fenclalton) is staving with friends at Mt. Somers, and later will visit licr uncle, Mr HuntiU- Morris, "Winchmore, Ashburton. Miss Kiliner (Biiry street, Sumner) is n.t present on a walking tour to Milford Sound.
Bishop and Mrs C. West-Watson (.Bishopscourt, Park terrace) have returned from a holiday visit to the South.
Mrs George Helmore ("Millbrook," Fendalton) and Mrs Heathcote Gray, who have been visiting friends in South Canterbury, and are at present the guests of Mrs Arthur Barker, Winchester, are returning to Christchurch tomorrow.
Mr and Mrs It. E. McDougall, Papanui road, have returned from a holiday spent at their farm in North Canterbury. Mrs Jack Ferrier, who Tias been staying with them, is returnins to Christchurch this week. Mrs A. M. Johnson (Lower Hutt) is arriving in Cliristchurch this morning and will be the guest of Sir ITeaton Ithodes at Otahuna. Her husband, the Veil. Archdeacon Johnson, will visit Christchurch later in the month.
Mr and Mrs E. It. Webb, Murray Place, hare returned from a holiday visit to Sumner. Miss Bettv Webb is at present the gn.cst of Mrs Kerr, Cavo, South Canterbury.
J>r. Elizabeth Gunn, who has been spending n holiday with her mother, Mrs W. Gunn, Aikman's road, has left for the north, accompanied by tier mother, who will spend a holiday in Wellington. Mrs H. T. Little (North Canterbury), accompanied by her two daughters, has left for a visit to the North Island.
Mr and Mrs James Vogel (Wellington), who hare been spending a few days in Cliristchurch, left yesterday for Timaru and Otago. Mr and Mrs Harold Elworthy, who have been visiting the Franz Josef Glacier, are leaving Christchurch today for Qraigmore, Timaru. Miss A. Ironside, who is spending a holiday on Banks Peninsula, is returning to Christchurch on Saturday. Miss Nancy Gard'ner, Cashel street West, who has been visiting Mies Gwladys Gaisford, Dannevirke, and Miss Torne Cracroft "Wilson, King Country, is returning to Christchurch this morning.
Mrs W. J. Robinson (Wang'inuO is the guest of her sister, Mrs Choler:cn, Sumner.
Mrs J. Marshall (Andersons Bav, I'unedin) is staying with Mrs C. Amyes (Fernside, North Canterbury). Mrs J. T. Oram (Fairton), who has been staying with her father, Mr W. Moore, Kaiapoi, has returned home. Dr. and Mrs Lyth and family, who have been spending a holiday at "Ilfracombe," Akaroa, have returned to Dunedin.
Archdeacon and Mrs A, L. Hansell arrived from the north yesterday. Mr and Mrs It. Bruce (Killinehy) are spending a holiday visiting relations and friends on Banks. Peninsula. Professor and Mrs J. Rankine Brown, Wellington, are spending a holiday at the Hermitage, Mt. Cook. Mrs James Macfarlane (Lyndon, North Canterbury) is visiting her mother, Mrs H. D. Acland, Park terrace.
Mrs Wenslcy Clarkson, formerly of Christchurch, but now of England, is doing secretarial work for Admiral Taylor, -M.P., for the Paddington Division of .London. Mrs Clarkson recently a few days with Mr and Mrs Cyril Armstrong, formerly of Auckland, at their home in .Essex. Miss Hazel Evans (Leinster road), who has been the guest of Mrs Leslie Averill at Leithfield Beach, has returned to Christchurch.
Mrs C. Langdon and her daughter (Papanui) have returned home after spending a holiday with Mrs D. L. Wilson (Halkett).

In connexion with the Triennial Dominion Conference of the New Zealand Federation of University Women, which opens at Christchurch on January 2Gth, the votina delegates of the Canterbury Centre will be Miss M. E. Sims (Dominion president), Miss A. F. Ironside (Dominion secretary), Mrs -B. C Penney (Dominion treasurer), Miss Ellen Jones (Canterbury representative on the Executive), and Dr. Jessie Scott, Mrs J. H. Kidd, Miss Marion Reese, and Miss Millicent Kennedy (Canterbury delegates).
